On the 3rd Day of Lit-mas

My true love gave to me A Maybe Someday CD!!….

I have a woman crush on Colleen Hoover and it’s ok to tell her! Actually I think I might have told her when I met her during the Fall Into Love Book Tour.

Maybe Someday is probably my favorite book by Ms. Hoover and I can read it over and over and over. I am not sure whether to give a brief description of the book because if you are reading this blog you’ve probably already read this book. But if you haven’t:

This story follows Syndey a 22-year-old college student who has become recently homeless after finding her bastard of a boyfriend cheating on her. Up until then everything was perfect including the music she listened to nightly that was played by her neighbor across the courtyard.

Ridge plays his guitar on his balcony every night and wonders how the beautiful blonde across the courtyard sings lyrics to music he hasn’t written lyrics to. He sees something he shouldn’t and can’t un-see it no matter how badly he wants to.

I loved every single minute of this book, everything about it was/is perfect. The characters were so moving and wonderful the music was beautiful and timeless. I can’t say anything about this book without smiling like and idiot. I’ve never read anything like this. It was so unlike any other romance novel I’ve ever read. The love in this book is epic. It doesn’t happen over night but it grows over time with the characters. I enjoyed Syndey as a heroine because she didn’t just rollover and submit. She was sweet and caring and lovely. Ridge was sexy and trustworthy and just plain perfect. He made promises and even as it pained him to keep them he was honorable. Warren, Ridge’s roommate, had me in tears laughing, the pranks and banter with this guy was hilarious. He was the perfect sidekick…Robin to Ridge’s Batman. I honestly could not find anything wrong with this book. I loved every character, I loved the story line, I loved that there wasn’t any bad guys/girls, I loved that I could not figure out who to root for and I loved that I didn’t want this story to end. This is a book that can be read over and over and over. So to one of my literary rock stars I salute thee! Because I am a groupie..not one of those boob flashing, throw your panties on the stage kind…but the I’ll read all your books and anything you recommend and if your close to Maryland I’ll probably show up kind.
