My must have reads for this month!
Beautiful Beloved 2/2/15 – In Beautiful Stranger , finance whiz Sara Dillon met the irresistibly sexy Brit, Max Stella, at a New York City club. Through the series we’ve watched them learn to balance commitment with their less than private brand of playfulness. In Beautiful Beloved, Max and Sara take it to the next step. But the question is: Will they be able to find a balance between the wild sexcapades they aren’t ready to retire, and the demands of parenthood that come along with their new Beautiful bundle of joy? Parenthood: it’s not for the weak of heart. I loved Beautiful Stranger so the continuation of this story; I am definitely looking forward to.
He’s rich and famous, his past dark, but so is hers. Can they save each other? Or will the darkness tear them apart? Pissed that this is a mini novel but I have to finish the Inside Out Series. Not only is this series in my Top 5 but it’s about to be a TV show I. CANNOT. WAIT.
A Stone in the Sea 2/23/15 – Sunder lead singer and guitarist Sebastian Stone has everything—fans, fame, and fortune. He also has a heart full of bitterness and a reputation for a short-fused temper. But an outward reputation rarely reveals the true man inside. Facing assault charges after trying to protect his younger brother, Sebastian is sent to Savannah, Georgia to lie low until the dust settles in L.A.
Shea Bentley is beautiful, kind, and hiding from the very lifestyle Sebastian has always embraced.
When the mysterious, tattooed stranger begins hanging out at the bar where she works, Shea is quick to recognize he is nothing but trouble, but she’s helpless to the way her body lights up every time his intense gray eyes tangle with hers.
They both soon find themselves drowning in a sea of desire and passion that won’t let them up for air.
Sebastian knows firsthand secrets never die, and he’s not the only one who’s hiding them.
Loving someone always comes with a price. But will it be Shea’s past that costs them everything. I have been given snippets of this story and it seems like it is going to be a good one.
Good Girl Gone 2/25/15 – She’s perfect. He’s not. She’s the lead singer in a popular rock band. He’s a tattoo artist. She’s all perfect creases and fancy clothes. He’s covered in prison ink. She’s wealthy. He doesn’t have a pot to piss in. She’s good. He’s bad. The question is — Will she ever be good enough for him? Love the Reed Brothers. Each brother is rough around the edges but so lovable you can’t help but put them on the BBF list.
Crown Me 2/10/15 – As the world tried to tear us apart, Alexander fought for me, claiming me as his own. I belong to him—body, heart, and soul. I found strength in his dominance. In his control. In his love. Still I could always feel it: the darkness creeping toward our joy, threatening to overcome us. But I never imagined it would end like this. I thought I knew what marrying Alexander meant to my life. To my independence. To us. I was wrong. Ripped apart by tragedy, fighting for love, Clara and Alexander face their darkest hour in the stunning conclusion to their saga. I was a little disappointed in book 2, Conquer Me, because it had the potential to be so much more. But, alas, I can not NOT finish a series and I am hoping it ends with a bang.
When Fate Isn’t Enough 2/25/15 – Can a romance that was written in the stars – bringing lust, passion, and love – survive real life? Lily Clark and Gavin Edwards met when their lives collided in a crazy twist of fate. Building a life together will take more than destiny, especially when ghosts from their past are trying to tear them apart.
After enduring an intense few months of drama, horror, and physical tribulations, Lily decides to escape her life in Washington, DC to join Gavin in London. Trust and faith have never come easily to Lily. She will be put to the test now that she and Gavin are living under the same roof. To make matters worse, trouble seems to find Lily wherever she goes. She thought she’d rid herself of her husband’s demons, but she soon learns that when you make a deal with the devil, he never really leaves. Can she and Gavin work together, or will she continue to shut him out and fight her own battles? Find out what happens When Fate Isn’t Enough. I need to know if Olivia gets that ass beat in London! That’s pretty much my sole reason for reading this book.
Killian – 2/24/15 – Killian Bosch knows he’s his own worst enemy – he just doesn’t give a damn. The star forward of a minor league hockey team, he’s unstoppable on the ice. His reckless behavior, devil-may-care attitude and complete disregard for consequences have made him a major source of headaches for the Fenway Flyers’ brass.
But the new Flyers owner is more steel than brass. Sidney Stahl is a disciplined woman who parlayed earnings from a college job into a real estate empire. She’s determined to transform the Flyers from marketing nightmare to hockey powerhouse. Once she gets Killian in line, she knows the rest of the team will follow his lead.
The seduction of his sexy new team owner is a challenge too forbidden for Killian to resist. Sidney plays into his attraction as a means of controlling him, but soon finds that she’s the one surrendering. It’s all on the line as Killian and Sidney are forced to choose – business or pleasure? I know zilch about Hockey but the cover model got my attention. I will be checking this out
