No Such Thing As Cabin Fever…

awesome-bookNo such thing as cabin fever for a book nerd. There is nothing I would rather do then sit in my house and read. Seriously I have so many books that I can get lost in. Whether it’s a sexy billionaire seducing a brunette virgin, a hot bad boy who lives in Rosemary Beach, or checking out one of those hot fighter brothers I have a plethora of places I can be at any time with a hot man there to keep me happy. As long as I have food and toilet paper I’m good.

Speaking of toilet paper…why is it that every time there is a mention of snow people run out of the house to the store to get Milk, bread, eggs and toilet paper. Are these things essential to survive a snow storm? Do you not have them already in your house? I don’t know about you, but we constantly have an abundance of these items in my home considering the 4yr old and the 35yr old live off of cereal, regardless of the chef inspired meals I cook. When I go snow storm shopping I am raiding the snack aisle. I need cookies, cakes, popcorn you know the ESSENTIALS for being stuck in the ding darn house. Who wants to be in the house with Milk, bread, and eggs. So what you can make French but then what? I’m just saying…

So with the impending snow that we, here on the east coast, are scheduled to get what do you consider essential when hunkering down? If you could only read one book, that you already own, while stuck in a storm what book is it? Comment below and enter to win a $10 Amazon Gift Card!!

  1. Oreos and Doritos. They are ALWAYS in our house. We also already have “the emergency essentials” in our house, so no need for those.

One book…really?? I’ve been known to read one book in a sitting before, haha (mom of the year award right here!). I’d say, either Fighting to Forgive by JB Salsbury or Garrison’s Creed by Cristin Harber (please don’t make me choose, lol). Doesn’t a kindle (app) count as “one book”?? 😉

  2. I love getting snowed in! I’d keep Re-reading Fifty Shades trilogy, if we’re talking actual paper backs. Of any on my kindle app… Wow… Choices choices… I’ll go with the Ritchie sisters “Addicted to You” series…

  3. I went on my laptop Kindle app today and saw that I have 455 books on my Kindle. It is crazypants! I will never have cabin fever when it comes to books. I can read 5 in a day if I let myself. And there’s nothing like snuggling up with my blanket and reading the day away. 🙂

  4. I live in Montreal so there is always snow here. But never enough that we would get snowed in. They clean the snow very quickly and people are always out and about.
I always keep enough food stocked so that is not a problem. If I could read one book it would be Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead.

  5. We definitely always have toilet paper, I HATE to ever run out! Lol! And If I’m going to be snowed in, I’d make sure to buy some extra batteries for the flashlight because if the power ever went out and I couldn’t charge my iPad to read my books, I want a flashlight to read one of my paper backs. Lol!! And do I only get to choose ONE book? How can I choos only one? That would be like me choosing only one of my kids. Hahahaha!! But, I guess if I had to choose just one, I’d choose one of the ARC that I have to do, Disillusioned by JC Cooper. Ty for the chance. ❤️❤️

  6. Hmmm… It would be Against All Odds by Angie McKeon.
Though there’s no snow in here, I really like to stay at home just to read or relax.

  7. Well, I haven’t been to a cabin :)) but I definitely don’t want anyone disturb me whenever I’m reading because if you do bad things will happen (like I’m going to shout at you!!) Haha
