Review: I swore to the Literary Gods that I was going to stop reading and get my African American Lit paper done…what does that have to do with anything you ask? Everything since couldn’t stop reading Kimberly Bracco’s Fallacy! This book was so good!! And to think I almost wrote this book off.
The beginning was a little rough for me. Quinn was too abrasive and I didn’t think I was going to like her, I still kinda don’t but not for the reason I didn’t when I started this book. However, once this story got rolling I was totally enthralled with it. I mean the ups and downs of this book took me on one helluva roller coaster ride. Quinn was the epitome of Alpha-Male with tits. She was a no nonsense, take it or leave it, all about climbing the corporate ladder kinda girl and relationships where NOT her priority until Alex.
Alex was the loop that Quinn wasn’t expecting. At. All. He was such a joy to read. He was loving, patient and understanding. He was definitely the yin to her yang and it was so damn good. I couldn’t get enough of this book. I mean talk about angst. The chemistry between the two of them was great but when it all went down…talk about wanting to slap a b!+ch. Quinn was two seconds from feeling my wrath then Ms. Bracco decided to piss on my Cheerios and leave me with a cliffhanger. W.T.F So 5 great stars for this. Oh yeah it’s Dual POV woo hoo! I am about to type this paper so I can get into book 2 immediately… Oh no, I have to wait until August!!?? Well slap my ass and call me Charlie.
