Blurb: Two strangers in Paris …
One passionate, earth-shattering kiss.
He was the artist upstairs
with the tantalizing smile and laughing eyes.
He was the devil inviting me to sin,
seducing me to dance in the bright moonlight.
He was desire and need.
When he touched me, my body sang.
My soul came alive.
But I belonged to another man,
and he didn’t want to let me go
Review: This was a one sit read for me. I was pulled completely in with the prologue and knew from that point I wouldn’t stop until I finished this story. It just got better from there.
Sebastien is sex on legs. This guy just oozes machismo and it doesn’t help that he is a tortured artist. OMG, can you say ovary explosion! I was turned off by the smoking but after being in France for the last month, EVERYONE smokes, it’s gross but c’est la vie. I fell hard for him from the beginning and I can guarantee that you will too.
Mia is a pretty good female lead. I don’t typically like weaker female characters but after reading her I’ve made an exception. She isn’t “weak” in the sense that she is a simple push over she was….well you will see, I don’t wanna spoil it. Anyway, I love her growth throughout the book and the closer to the end we get the stronger we see Mia become and I absolutely adore it! Her husband, however, is a sick ***k and I could not believe what I was reading. I had a feeling but boy was I shocked when things went in a completely opposite direction of what I thought. This quick 200+ page read is well worth it. If I say too much more I’d spoil it so I am giving it 4.5 stars. Check this one out y’all
